“It is a great opportunity for me to volunteer with Roshni and Roshni Kitchen. All the staff are really friendly. I feel comfortable, in control and I feel more supported than I ever had before.
In the cafe, I am learning cafe administration, communicating with customers, and making new dishes. I am getting good feedback from staff and customers. All of this is helping me to boost my creativity.
I am really looking forward to continuing to volunteer with Roshni.”
"I am learning English and I have no work experience. I did an employment preparation course at Roshni and now I am volunteering at the Roshni Kitchen. After attending two taster sessions in the Roshni Kitchen. I felt happy and relaxed in the Roshni Kitchen; everyone is friendly and encouraging. I am now attending a week long hospitality course, arranged by Roshni and Free2Learn. Once this course is finished I will be doing a 3-month work experience placement at Roshni Kitchen. I am very happy to have this opportunity. It will help me to find a job."
